Paul Klee - The Twittering Machine

The 1922 watercolor "Twittering Machine," like many other works by Paul Klee, shows the mixture of biology and machinery, which leaves a lot of room for interpretation. In 1933, the painting was declared "degenerate art" by Adolf Hitler. Today it hangs in the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
