René Magritte - The False Mirror

A large eye penetrated by a cloudy sky stares at us: Magritte's "The False Mirror" is a work from 1928 that was once owned by the surrealist photographer Man Ray and is now owned by the MOMA in New York. A painting that looks at us as we look at it, that catches the viewer as if in a mirror in a disturbing game that is also a challenge to a surreal interpretation of reality.
