Giovanni Boldini - Giuseppe Verdi

Boldini painted this portrait of Giuseppe Verdi in 1886 as a pastel on cardboard. The oil on canvas hung on the wall of the living room of the Doria Palace, the Verdi couple's winter residence in Genoa, and is now in the Casa di Riposo per Musicisti in Milan.
