René Magritte - The Lovers

The Lovers II (1928) is an oil painting on canvas depicting two people in an embrace. The figures are kissing through veils. They are in a room where the back wall, side wall and ceiling are visible. The back wall is blue-gray, with the lower half a lighter shade and the upper half a darker shade.
