Galatea of the Spheres is a 1952 painting by Salvador Dalí depicting Gala Dalí, the wife and muse of Salvador Dalí, within a series of spheres arranged in a continuous pattern. The name Galatea refers to a sea nymph of classical mythology who was known for her virtuousness, and may also refer to the statue beloved of her creator, Pygmalion.
