Vincent van Gogh - Wheatfield under a Stormy Sky

In the last weeks of his life, Van Gogh created a series of striking paintings of the wheat fields around Auvers. This vast field under a dark sky is one of them. In these landscapes he tried to express "sadness, extreme loneliness".
